Thanks for stopping by. Here’s what happens around here:

smattering (noun):
1- : superficial piecemeal knowledge
2- : a small scattered number or amount

The Smattering lives up to its name on both counts- as a human I only have superficial and piecemeal knowledge about things. I truly can’t wait for heaven, when maybe some of the pieces will all come together and I’ll have some big “ah-ha” moments. And The Smattering really lives up to it’s name with the second meaning- I don’t usually write a lot or on a schedule because… well, life.

You won’t find anything fancy here, just an odd assortment of things I’ve been thinking about lately. Frequent flier topics are suffering, chronic illness, mental health, reconstructing faith after spiritual abuse, and whatever other topics plop themselves down in my lap (usually uninvited).

Just light and fluffy stuff. Ya know.
